You're Leaving Money on the Table (Where to Post Your Amazon Influencer Videos for Maximum ROI)

If you're creating videos for the Amazon Influencer Program, let me ask you a simple question:

After you upload that video to Amazon… what happens next?

For most people, the answer is…

Nothing.

They upload the video, hope it ranks on a product page, and move on to the next product.

But here's the thing.

If you're already taking the time to record a product review, you're creating a valuable digital asset.

And if that asset only lives in one place, you're probably leaving a lot of money on the table.

The good news?

You don't need to create more videos.

You just need to get more mileage out of the videos you're already making.

In this post, I'm going to walk you through the platforms I believe offer the best return on investment for Amazon Influencer videos, which ones I personally think are worth your time, which ones I'd avoid in the beginning, and how I would approach this if I were starting over today.

The Biggest Mistake Creators Make

One of the biggest mistakes creators make is assuming that more content automatically equals more income.

So they create hundreds—or even thousands—of videos.

But often, they're only uploading them to one platform.

Meanwhile, the smartest creators squeeze every ounce of value out of every piece of content they create.

Think about it this way.

If it takes you 10 minutes to record a product review, why would you only let that review earn money in one location?

If that same review can generate income across multiple platforms, your return on time invested increases dramatically.

The goal isn't necessarily to create more content.

The goal is to make every piece of content work harder.

Platform #1: Amazon Influencer Program

Obviously, the first place every product review should go is the Amazon Influencer Program.

This is the original purpose of the video.

You're helping shoppers make informed buying decisions.

You're earning commissions when purchases occur.

And if you create genuinely helpful reviews, Amazon may continue showing those videos for months—or even years.

This is your foundation.

Every review starts here.

But I don't think it should end here.

Platform #2: TikTok Shop Affiliate

If I had to choose just one platform outside of Amazon, it would probably be TikTok Shop Affiliate.

The reason is simple.

TikTok is one of the most product-focused platforms in the world right now.

People are constantly discovering products.

People are constantly buying products.

And product demonstrations perform extremely well.

A review you create for Amazon can often be repurposed into TikTok content with very little additional work.

Now, not every Amazon product is available through TikTok Shop.

But many are.

And even if a specific product isn't available through TikTok Shop, product review content still performs extremely well on TikTok.

One good video can generate:

  • Affiliate commissions

  • Free traffic

  • New followers

  • Brand partnerships

  • Future opportunities

The upside can be massive.

Platform #3: YouTube Shorts

The next platform I'd focus on is YouTube Shorts.

This one is often overlooked by Amazon Influencers, but I think it's one of the best opportunities available today.

Why?

Because YouTube is both a social media platform and a search engine.

People actively search for:

  • Product reviews

  • Product comparisons

  • Demonstrations

  • Buying advice

Unlike many other platforms where content disappears quickly, YouTube content often has a much longer lifespan.

The same review you created for Amazon can be uploaded as a YouTube Short with minimal effort.

In many cases, those Shorts can also help you:

  • Grow your YouTube channel

  • Generate affiliate commissions

  • Attract sponsorships

  • Create additional income streams outside of Amazon

Platform #4: Instagram Reels

Instagram Reels would be my next stop.

But here's how I'd approach Instagram...

I would upload there.

I would not obsess over it.

In other words, I wouldn't spend hours optimizing content specifically for Instagram.

I'd simply:

  • Remove any watermarks

  • Upload the video

  • Write a caption

  • Move on

The potential upside is definitely there.

But I don't think most creators need to spend significant time creating Instagram-exclusive product review content.

Platform #5: Facebook Reels

Facebook Reels is another platform many creators ignore.

And while it may not be as exciting as TikTok or YouTube, it still offers opportunities.

The audience tends to skew older.

Many of those users are active online shoppers.

And because competition is often lower, some creators are seeing surprisingly good results.

The best part?

It's another place where you can upload the exact same video you've already created.

No additional filming required.

What About Pinterest?

A lot of people ask me about Pinterest.

And I think Pinterest can absolutely work.

But I also think many creators overestimate how quickly Pinterest produces results.

Pinterest is generally a long-term traffic strategy.

It takes time to build momentum.

It takes time to generate meaningful traffic.

If you're limited on time, I think there are higher-return activities available.

Personally, I would focus on video platforms first.

Once those systems are working consistently, then I'd consider expanding into Pinterest.

What About Starting a Blog?

This one surprises a lot of people.

I actually like websites.

I like content businesses.

I like owning digital assets.

But if your primary goal is increasing income from product reviews, I probably wouldn't start a brand-new blog right away.

The reason is simple.

Blogs take time.

Sometimes six months.

Sometimes twelve months.

Sometimes even longer.

Meanwhile, a video uploaded to Amazon, TikTok, or YouTube can start generating results almost immediately.

That's not to say blogging doesn't work—it absolutely can.

But if you're focused on maximizing your return on time invested, I'd prioritize video platforms first.

The Real Secret: Better Products, Not More Platforms

Now here's something important.

I actually don't think platform selection is the biggest factor.

I think product selection is.

A lot of creators spend hours trying to squeeze another platform into their workflow.

Meanwhile, they're making videos about products that nobody is searching for or buying.

I'd much rather create one outstanding review on a high-demand product than ten reviews on products with very little demand.

This is where tools like Viral Vue can become incredibly valuable.

Instead of guessing which products are worth reviewing, you can identify products with:

  • Strong buyer demand

  • Lower competition

  • Better earning potential

That allows you to spend your time where it matters most.

Because even the best video in the world can't make money if nobody is shopping for that product.

The System I Would Follow

If I were building an Amazon Influencer business today, my workflow would be incredibly simple.

Step 1:

Identify a product with strong earning potential.

Step 2:

Create one genuinely helpful review.

Show the product.

Demonstrate how it works.

Share your experience.

Discuss the pros and cons.

Help shoppers make an informed decision.

Step 3:

Distribute that same video across multiple platforms:

  • Amazon Influencer Program

  • TikTok Shop Affiliate

  • YouTube Shorts

  • Instagram Reels

  • Facebook Reels (optional)

That's it.

No complicated funnels.

No excessive editing.

No creating five different versions of the same video.

One high-quality video.

Multiple platforms.

Maximum leverage.

Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, most creators don't need to create more content.

They simply need to get more value from the content they're already creating.

If you're already recording product reviews for the Amazon Influencer Program, you have an opportunity to turn every review into a multi-platform asset.

Focus on:

  • Creating better videos

  • Choosing better products

  • Helping buyers make smarter purchasing decisions

Then let that same content work for you across multiple platforms.

That's how you increase your earning potential without dramatically increasing your workload.

I'd love to hear from you.

If you're posting your Amazon Influencer videos somewhere besides Amazon, where are you seeing the best results?

And if you've discovered a platform that's producing surprisingly good income, let me know—I always enjoy hearing what's working for other creators.
