How I Turn One Product Into 6–8 Different Income Streams

What if I told you that one product could potentially make you money six, seven, or even eight different ways?

Most people look at the Amazon Influencer Program, TikTok Shop Affiliate, retail dropshipping, affiliate marketing, and product reselling as completely separate business models.

But in my opinion, they’re not.

They’re actually pieces of the same system.

And once you combine them, each one can start feeding the others and creating a flywheel.

Instead of buying products just to review them, reviewing products just to earn commissions, or dropshipping products just to make a quick profit, you can create a system where every product you touch has multiple opportunities to generate income.

That’s exactly what I’ve been building over the last couple of years, and I want to walk you through the entire strategy I’m still using today.

By the end, you’ll understand how I combine the Amazon Influencer Program, TikTok Shop Affiliate, content distribution, product reselling, and retail dropshipping to create multiple potential income streams from many of the same products.

Start With the Amazon Influencer Program

The Amazon Influencer Program is where a lot of people first discover this type of strategy.

If you’re unfamiliar with it, the program allows creators to upload product review videos that can appear directly on Amazon product pages.

When shoppers interact with your content and ultimately make qualifying purchases, you can earn commissions.

It’s honestly one of my favorite creator programs because your videos can continue working for you long after you’ve uploaded them.

But here’s where things get interesting.

You don’t necessarily need to buy every product yourself.

Get Free Products From Brands

Brands are constantly looking for creators to showcase their products.

Through opportunities such as Amazon Creator Connections and direct brand outreach, you may be able to connect with brands and receive free products to create content around.

I’ve been doing this a lot lately.

Honestly, the volume of products brands are willing to send can become overwhelming.

There are times when I have more products arriving than I realistically have time to create videos for.

I’ve also started using tools like Viral Vue to streamline some of my outreach and identify better opportunities instead of managing everything manually.

Once the products arrive, I create my review videos.

That gives me the first potential income stream:

Amazon Influencer commissions.

But that’s only the beginning.

Creator Connections Can Add Another Commission Layer

Some products may also have Creator Connections campaigns associated with them.

These campaigns can offer additional commission opportunities beyond the standard commissions you’re already earning when the campaign requirements and attribution conditions are met.

So now the same product may potentially generate:

  1. Standard Amazon Influencer commissions

  2. Creator Connections bonus commissions

But here’s the mistake I think a lot of creators make.

They upload the video to Amazon…

And stop.

That’s where you may be leaving a lot of money on the table.

Repurpose the Same Video for TikTok Shop Affiliate

Many of those exact same products—or very similar ones—may also be available through TikTok Shop.

So why not take the same core review content and use it there too?

Now you’ve created another opportunity to earn commissions from essentially the same piece of content.

There’s one important thing I keep in mind when creating videos for multiple platforms:

Make your content platform-neutral whenever possible.

For example, avoid saying things like:

“Click my TikTok Shop link.”

Or:

“Tap the link in the bottom left.”

That immediately limits where you can reuse the video.

Instead, I prefer more universal language—or sometimes no platform-specific call to action at all.

The goal is simple:

Create once. Distribute everywhere.

Now one product can potentially generate Amazon Influencer commissions, Creator Connections commissions, and TikTok Shop Affiliate commissions.

And we’re still not finished.

Post the Same Content on YouTube

I also repurpose many of these product reviews for YouTube.

YouTube is particularly interesting because product review content can continue generating traffic long after it’s published.

People actively search for product reviews, demonstrations, comparisons, buying advice, and specific product names.

That gives your content another opportunity to generate affiliate commissions.

For external Amazon links, tools such as Geniuslink can also help with international traffic by directing shoppers toward appropriate destinations based on how you’ve configured your links.

YouTube also offers its own shopping and product-linking opportunities for eligible creators.

So now the same product has another potential income stream.

Repurpose It to Instagram

I’ll also frequently post the same video to Instagram.

Depending on the tools and affiliate functionality available to you, there are different ways to direct interested viewers toward the product.

For example, you could create a Reel showcasing the product and ask interested viewers to comment for the link.

You can then send them the relevant affiliate link through a DM where appropriate.

The important point isn’t the exact linking strategy.

It’s that you’re taking content you’ve already created and giving it another opportunity to generate traffic and commissions.

Don’t Forget Pinterest

Pinterest can also be valuable because content there has the potential to drive traffic over a long period of time.

It’s not necessarily the first platform I would prioritize if you’re short on time.

But if your workflow makes it easy to repurpose content there, I think it can be worth testing.

That’s especially true if you already have software or a VA helping automate parts of your content distribution.

The additional effort can be extremely small.

And that’s really the philosophy behind this entire strategy.

I’m not trying to create eight separate pieces of content.

I’m trying to turn one piece of content into multiple opportunities.

Facebook Can Surprise You

I also upload many of these videos to a Facebook page.

Facebook can be unpredictable.

Sometimes you upload a video and almost nothing happens.

Then another video gets picked up by the algorithm and takes off.

I’ve had videos suddenly start getting significant views long after they were originally uploaded.

But again, I’m not necessarily creating brand-new content specifically for Facebook.

The video already exists.

Uploading it takes very little additional effort, especially once you have a system—or a VA—handling distribution.

That creates another potential source of traffic and affiliate commissions.

Then Sell the Product When You’re Finished

Here’s where this strategy gets even more interesting.

Once I’m finished creating content around a product, I can often sell the physical product itself, assuming the terms under which I received it allow me to do so.

If a brand sent it to me for free, my original product cost may effectively be zero.

I can potentially list it on marketplaces like Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, Depop, OfferUp, Vinted, or other resale marketplaces.

If it sells for $10, that’s additional money.

If it sells for $100, even better.

I’ve received products worth hundreds of dollars.

Once I’m finished creating the necessary content, that physical item can potentially become another source of profit.

I’ve been doing this more systematically over the last several months, and reselling products I no longer need can add another meaningful income stream.

So one product can potentially contribute to:

  1. Amazon Influencer commissions

  2. Creator Connections commissions

  3. TikTok Shop Affiliate commissions

  4. YouTube affiliate traffic

  5. Instagram traffic

  6. Pinterest traffic

  7. Facebook traffic

  8. Resale profit

That’s an incredible amount of potential leverage from one product and one core piece of content.

TikTok Shop Can Feed the Same System

The same concept can work in reverse with TikTok Shop Affiliate.

Brands on TikTok Shop may provide eligible creators with product samples in exchange for content.

You receive the product.

You create the video.

If your content drives qualifying purchases, you can potentially earn commissions.

But instead of thinking:

“This is a TikTok video.”

I think:

“How can I create this video so I can use it everywhere?”

That’s why I avoid platform-specific language whenever possible.

If you create the video properly from the beginning, you may be able to repurpose the core content to Amazon, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and other platforms without recording the same review over and over again.

Again:

Create once. Monetize repeatedly.

And after you’re finished with the sample, you may potentially be able to resell that product too, depending on the terms attached to the sample.

Retail Dropshipping Can Feed the Content Machine

This is where everything really starts coming together.

Retail dropshipping is another business model I’ve used for years.

The basic idea is straightforward.

You list products from retailers on resale marketplaces at a markup.

When someone orders the product from you, you purchase it from the retailer and fulfill the order in accordance with the marketplace’s applicable rules.

You make the difference between your selling price and your total costs.

But here’s the part that can tie everything together.

If a product legitimately comes into your possession as part of your fulfillment workflow before being sent to the customer, that may create an opportunity to create content around it—as long as doing so doesn’t interfere with fulfillment, product condition, customer expectations, or marketplace policies.

You may have already generated profit from the original transaction.

Now you may also be able to create a product review that continues generating commissions long after that original sale is finished.

Instead of paying money specifically to acquire every product for content creation, products already moving through your business can sometimes become additional content opportunities.

Your Dropshipping Business Can Feed Your Influencer Business

Think about how different that is from simply buying products for the sole purpose of reviewing them.

The product may already be coming through your business.

So when appropriate, you potentially have another content opportunity sitting right in front of you.

The more products you encounter, the more potential review opportunities you can identify.

Those reviews can then be distributed across multiple platforms.

It creates a cycle where one business can continually feed the others.

Be Strategic About Products You Buy Anyway

This same mindset can apply to products you’re purchasing for yourself.

Let’s say you need a portable charger.

Instead of randomly buying the first portable charger you see, you could compare several options and ask:

Which product do I actually need that also represents a good content opportunity?

Now you’re getting something you were already going to buy while potentially creating another commission-producing asset.

Tools that provide data around demand and creator competition can help you make smarter decisions here.

You’re not necessarily buying more stuff.

You’re simply being more strategic about the products you’re already buying.

The Entire Flywheel

When you put everything together, the system is relatively simple.

Step 1: Get products. They might come from brand collaborations, TikTok Shop samples, products you already own, products you were already planning to purchase, or products legitimately moving through another part of your business.

Step 2: Create one strong piece of content. Record a useful product review that isn’t overly dependent on one specific platform. Make the core content useful anywhere.

Step 3: Distribute it everywhere. Repurpose that content across Amazon, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and any other platforms that make sense.

Step 4: Earn commissions. That single piece of content now has multiple opportunities to generate income.

Step 5: Resell the product when appropriate. If you don’t need to keep it and you’re permitted to sell it, you may be able to recover additional value from the physical product.

Step 6: Repeat. Use your existing businesses and content systems to continually feed new products into the flywheel.

That’s the system.

Stop Thinking of These as Separate Businesses

This is probably the biggest takeaway.

Instead of thinking:

“I have an Amazon Influencer business.”

“I have a TikTok Affiliate business.”

“I have a dropshipping business.”

Start thinking of them as one ecosystem.

Each piece can strengthen the others.

Amazon gives you product and commission opportunities.

TikTok gives you additional product and commission opportunities.

YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest give your content additional distribution.

Reselling can let you recover additional value from physical products you no longer need.

And your other e-commerce activities can expose you to more products and potential content opportunities.

Everything starts feeding everything else.

Final Thoughts

That’s how I think about creating multiple income streams from the same product instead of constantly chasing completely separate business models.

One product can potentially generate product-review commissions, bonus commissions, TikTok Affiliate commissions, external affiliate commissions, social media traffic, long-term content assets, resale profit, and—in some situations—profit from the original e-commerce transaction.

And that’s why I’ve become so focused on this system.

It’s not necessarily about working more.

It’s about getting more leverage from the work you’re already doing.

Instead of creating one video for one platform and giving yourself one opportunity to earn, create your content intentionally so that each product has multiple chances to generate value.

That’s how Amazon Influencer, TikTok Shop Affiliate, retail dropshipping, content repurposing, and product reselling can work together as one larger business ecosystem.
