4 PROVEN Strategies to Sell Your Products on Tiktok Shop

So, you’ve heard about TikTok Shop and the massive opportunity it presents. But the big question is: HOW do you actually sell products on it? How can you get results?

There are three main ways to sell your products through TikTok Shop:

  1. Affiliate Marketing: One of the best strategies is to reach out to affiliates and have them sell your products for you. There’s an entire Affiliates tab in the TikTok Shop backend where you can browse and contact different affiliates. By making your products available for affiliates to find and promote, you can leverage their established audiences within your niche. They’ll create the videos, and while you may earn slightly less on each sale due to the commission they receive, it’s a win-win situation. The more incentives you provide to affiliates, the more likely they’ll want to promote your products. These incentives can come in the form of higher commissions, products that are already selling well (indicating to affiliates that they’ll get sales too), free samples, or even paid promotional videos if you choose to go that route. Keep all of these factors in mind when trying to attract affiliates. Just a few good affiliates can make a huge difference, turning a handful of sales into hundreds or even thousands, all without extra work on your end. Plus, TikTok handles all the calculations and payouts automatically, so you don’t have to worry about that aspect.

  2. Live Streams: Selling via live streams is another highly effective method. While it might not be everyone’s preference, it’s a powerful tool that people are using to great effect right now. TikTok is heavily pushing live streams, which can help you gain followers, increase visibility for your shop, and sell products quickly. You don’t have to be a master salesperson to succeed here. Simply going live, showcasing your product, and discussing its benefits, features, and the problems it solves can be enough to generate sales.

  3. Product Videos: Creating videos to sell your products is another method I personally use, alongside affiliate marketing. Whether or not you’re already using affiliates, you should still be focusing on perfecting your own product videos on your page. You can do this yourself or outsource it to a UGC creator, use an app like JoinBrands, or hire a company to do it for you. Regardless, you need to be doing this because any video has the potential to go viral at any point. Taking those swings at the plate yourself is crucial. Not to mention, the more videos you create, the better you’ll become. You’ll learn what works and what doesn’t when it comes to speaking to and creating content for your specific target audience.

But one of the best ways to make videos when you’re testing products to find winners is by using Creatify AI.

Creatify AI is an amazing AI software I’ve been using for a while now to create high-quality videos in seconds. It allows you to make videos that look fantastic, complete with transitions, voiceovers, and captions, faster than you can even record a video on your phone yourself.

Not only that, their AI writes winning scripts for you. Seriously, I challenge you to test it—it will blow you away. It even reads your script aloud in the video and sounds exactly like a human. But that’s just the beginning. You can quickly create dozens of videos and upload them to TikTok using this software, all on the same day you select a product, without even needing the product on hand.

Creatify AI uses a combination of pictures and videos from the product listing to generate a video for you. You can also upload your own videos, and it will pull the best parts as B-roll, overlaying them with your script and voiceover. This results in a brand-new, high-quality video showcasing your product in just seconds.

I’ve done multiple tutorials demonstrating the power of this software on my channel, and for good reason—it’s incredible. I still use it to test products in the early stages when I’m deciding whether to invest more time and effort into them. I can’t recommend it enough for testing products with as little time and effort as possible in the beginning. Here's a video tutorial for you if you'd like to see the power of this software in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbakjFLJ0ls

Now, let’s talk about another strategy: the shop tab on your TikTok profile page.

Viewers can visit the shop section of your profile to see all your available products. This feature is the second tab on a profile page with shop enabled, resembling a little shopping bag. Although most sales come from product videos, having a shop section is an added bonus.

This probably won’t drive tons of sales at the very beginning, but as you build your brand and gain recognition in your niche, customers will start to check it out more often. If you’re making your current customers happy—those who are likely following your page—this could certainly lead to repeat customers and additional sales from people who had a positive experience.

Ultimately, TikTok simplifies the purchasing process, making it convenient and enticing for potential customers. This year alone has proven that point with sales on the platform going through the roof.

I hope these strategies help you gain some traction, especially if you’re just starting out. There are plenty of sales to be made with the right products and videos. And it’s not as tough or complicated as it might seem if you’re willing to put in the work.
